Zack Rikito Harris is a Hawai'i-born, mixed-race AAPI actor, writer, and director. He is known for his work on Magnum P.I. and the award-winning experimental short Ballistic (2021).
A dual citizen of New Zealand, Harris trained internationally at South Seas Film & Television in Auckland before continuing to build his craft through on-camera and improvisational study, including training with Ivana Chubbuck and programs such as Killian's Workshop and the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Before relocating to Los Angeles, Harris spent seven years at Honolulu's ABC affiliate KITV4, where he wrote, directed, and produced community-driven original and commercial content-helping develop the episodic series Island Life while leading storytelling for major campaigns and partners. He is an alumnus of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and Arizona State University, and a graduate of UCLA's Professional Program in Writing for Television (2025).
Harris has served on the executive board of the Honolulu Fukushima Kenjin Kai and was recognized by the United Japanese Society of Hawai'i as a Kenjin Kai Young Achiever. He is also a Creative Lab Hawai'i Acting Fellow (2021) and an 'Ohina Labs Writing Fellow (2025).
