- Nina Romeo began performing at the age of 7 playing Charlie Brown in her local theater. Her love of performing soon expanded to include both dance and improvisation. She spent her summers training at Chicago's Second City Boot Camp, Interlochen Center for the Arts, and the Northwestern University Theater Cherubs, and made her way up to pre-professional modern dance, receiving training in various dance forms at the Center for Modern Dance, Paul Taylor American Modern Dance, and the Broadway Dance Center. She also took part in the national competitive speech circuit, further confirming her desire to act. Nina's screen work includes the live sketch comedy show FreqOut Live! for Frequency TV, the short film She's Not There, and the Feirstein School of Cinema remake of the coming-of-age drama Mosquita y Mari. Her stage work includes Improvised Jane Austen at the IO Theater of Chicago, and Droppin $cience at Chicago's Annoyance Theatre. Nina's passion for creating and inhabiting characters fuels her desire to be a true storyteller. It informs every step of her life and continues to grow as she pursues her dreams of the screen and stage.
