Biography

Mollie Winnard is a British actress known for her work in television and film, including the BBC dramas Happy Valley and Silent Witness, Channel 5's All Creatures Great & Small, ITV's Coronation Street, BBC's Waterloo Road and the feature film Apnas.

Winnard made her television debut in the BBC drama Love, Lies & Records before joining the cast of Coronation Street as Kayla Clifton. Her performance as Kayla earned her the Inside Soap Award for Best Bad Girl in 2018.

She went on to appear as Demi in the BBC drama Four Lives and as Joanna Hepworth in the third series of Happy Valley. Winnard is also known for her continuing role as Maggie in All Creatures Great & Small, appearing across multiple series and Christmas specials, with further appearances in the 2026 series.

In 2026, Winnard appeared as DI Claire Ferris in Silent Witness, played Elenor Elmsley in the feature film Apnas, and joined the cast of Waterloo Road as Gemma Tully.

Winnard trained at Mark Hudson's Manchester School of Acting and works across television and film.
