Biography

Keenan Grom is an actor, stunt performer and filmmaker from Moose Cree First Nation, based in Moosonee, Ontario. He first came to set as an actor in Don McKellar's feature Through Black Spruce (2018) and has since appeared on screen in projects such as Trickster, Warrior Strong and Québexit. Behind the camera, Keenan has worked in the assistant directors and production departments, as a stunt performer on series including Shoresy, The Lake and It: Welcome to Derry, giving him a 360-degree view of life on set. His debut as writer-director, the short film Through Brown Glass, premiered at the 2023 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival and has screened at festivals across Canada, earning two nominations at the 2024 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards.
