Biography

Ernest Owens is a professional basketball player for Guatemala City in the Liga De Nacional league in Guatemala. Owens was born in Silver Spring, Maryland . He is also an actor who guest starred on Tyler Perry Show. Owens played college football as a quarterback for Oklahoma Baptist University and studied sociology and theater in college. He was recruited by Maryland, Virginia Tech, Duke, Baylor, Arkansas, Memphis,Texas Tech and others. After graduating college with his degree, Owens also played professional basketball in Europe for the Westfalen Mustangs and pursued acting professionally.
