Amy Starkey is a writer, director and actor with over 20 years of experience as an award-winning theatre artist in Vancouver, Toronto and New York. She has a passion for women's and gender-related stories, having performed in Macbeth, A Comedy of Errors, The Vagina Monologues, A Particular Class of Women, Marion Bridge and directed The Attic, The Pearls & 3 Fine Girls, Chapter Two and Dracula. She wrote and directed the play, Love, Iris and the film In Her View.

Amy Starkey is a screenwriter, director and actor with a background in theatre. Amy directed her debut play, ...love Iris for the Toronto Fringe Festival and screened her short film, In Her View at Courage Film Festival (Berlin) and Female Filmmaker's Fuse Festival in Los Angeles. Theater credits include The Vagina Monologues, Macbeth, A Particular Class of Women, A Late Snow (Performer), The Attic, The Pearls & Three Fine Girls, Dracula, Chapter Two (Director). Amy directed an original opera, Forever Hold Your Peace for Opera Unbound in Vancouver and wrote five episodes of the dramatic podcast, Flourish. She has two screenplays in development with Alpha Zulu Media in Vancouver.
