Biography

Jahi Minkah Trotter is an actor, filmmaker, and writer with over a decade of experience creating bold, character-driven stories. He holds an MFA in Film & Television from SCAD and has appeared in television series including Fatal Attraction and For My Man (TV One), as well as feature films such as A Nanny's Revenge and Psycho Roommate on Amazon Prime.

As a filmmaker, Jahi has written, produced, and starred in three award-winning shorts that have screened at festivals across the United States and internationally. His work blends action, dark comedy, and emotional depth, often exploring resilience, morality, and personal transformation.

Outside of acting and directing, he teaches filmmaking, mentors emerging artists, and develops original projects through his production company.
