  • Barbara Glas studied English literature, civilization, and media, as well as script writing and film directing at University Paris Nanterre, Censier University (Sorbonne Nouvelle) and University Paris 8 - Vincennes St-Denis.

    She performed as a child actress from age 10 to 14, and returned to stage acting in the early 2000s.

    She wrote and directed the short films To the Last Drop in 2017 and Odin River in 2018, both of which won multiple film and script awards.

    In 2019, she wrote and directed the featurette pilot of the eponym series in English, Songs of the Day After, which won over 25 awards. Barbara has completed the scripts of 8 episodes of the first season of the series.

    In 2022 she wrote and directed the 3-episode, French black-and-white miniseries Rien ne va plus.

    In 2024 she shot her first documentary, Systema Survival Art, of which she is editing the second part.

    In 2025 she wrote the script of the period short film, Le dernier lavoir, for producer Damien Terrier of Aleph Omega [FR].

    In 2025 she completed the screenplay of the English political and psychological thriller she will direct, And You Will Not Stand Still, which takes place in pre-Brexit United Kingdom.
