- Maks Swiderek is a Ukrainian filmmaker with over a decade of experience across production, camera, and emerging technology. Holding a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking, he has worked across a broad range of broadcast projects for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, and Discovery, among others. As a camera operator and location director, Maks has worked on productions spanning wildlife, sport, and documentary - including Secret Safari in Kenya for Channel 4 and The Football Academy (CBBC). His work as Director of Photography on The Hundred for the ICC was shortlisted at the Cannes Festival in 2022. Beyond the camera, Maks has produced and associate produced content for flagship programmes including The One Show (BBC), Dispatches (Channel 4), and has contributed to script development for Metro Goldwyn Mayer. He is also the founder of 3DPrintWell, a UK 3D Printing and prototyping service, where he led the development of a first-of-its-kind wireless camera system for use in extreme environments, securing investment from AstraZeneca.
