Biography

Sonera Theo Angel is a mixed-race, nonbinary actor based in London. Theo is an ambulatory wheelchair user and performs both with and without mobility aids. They play characters of all genders as their experience encompasses this. Theo has recently begun writing and directing, with the intention to change not just the people we see on screen but also support the diversity of the crew behind it. Over 7 years of acting for independent films, HBO, SKY, BBC, and Netflix, they have a sense for how the smoothest sets run. Theo is best known for Obsession (2023), Casualty (1986), and The Third Day (2020).
