Heather Muriel Nguyen (they/them) is an asexual non-binary autistic Vietnamese-American actor-writer-director who is passionate about creating collaborative spaces and joyful stories for trans, gender-nonconforming, and queer communities, particularly of Color and neurodiverse, because spaces made by and for us can be life-giving and life-saving. Their award-winning films range from visceral magical realism to witchy fantasy to grounded sci-fi and have screened at queer and AA/NH-PI film festivals, such as NewFest, CAAMFest, and Outfest’s Opening Gala. Heather's films are streaming at the OutMuseum, Film Shortage, and Retrospective of Jupiter.
