His love of performance began as a teenager when he created and performed a solo slapstick routine fighting an invisible ninja and losing. There were many iterations of this which included a broom, a chair and a pool noodle.
Always a seeker of adventure, he competed on Wipeout Canada before finishing runner up on Canada's Smartest Person.
Acting became a natural and life changing pursuit and he considers himself a lifelong student of the craft.

- A true lover of all things Star Trek, he has a picture of himself on a replica bridge of TNGs Enterprise in the Captain's Chair. He would happily wear a red shirt and die as an extra if he could get on set of a Star Trek production.
- He is a licensed MMA, muay thai, kickboxing and boxing judge for the BC Athletic Commission and in addition to hundreds of fights judged, has worked 2 UFC events in Vancouver, Canada.
- In 2016, he finished 2nd overall in Canada's Smartest Person, a reality competition show based on the theory of multiple intelligences. The winner was Stephanie Harvey, a professional gamer.
