Aniket is a filmmaker, songwriter and visual artist based out of Calcutta, india. His debut feature Ghost of the Golden Groves played at Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Montreal where it was nominated for FIPRESCI award and won at CUFF 2020. It received praise from several film critics and magazines such as Sight and Sound, Senses of Cinema, Screen Anarchy etc. He also has a background in alternative music and his indie electronic act Oh, Rocket had a fair amount of international recognition.
