Yulia Trofimova is a filmmaker and screenwriter whose work combines intimate human stories, sharp observation and a subtle sense of humor. She studied directing and screenwriting at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Her feature debut, The Land of Sasha, premiered internationally in the Generation section of the Berlin International Film Festival. Her second feature, Liar, continued its international festival journey, screening at festivals in Europe and Asia.
