Jacqueline Perriam

Jacqueline Perriam is an award winning Canadian film composer who has teamed up with her husband, Erik Abbink to create exceptional scores for film and television. They are known for delivering emotionally impactful music for suspenseful thrillers and uplifting Romantic Comedies. Jacqueline and Erik's work on TV movies has aired on Lifetime Television, Paramount+, TF1 in France, Channel 5 in the UK, UPtv (US) and on the Women's Network as part of Hallmark's Countdown To Christmas. Together, they have enjoyed working with clients such as Reel One Entertainment, Champlain Media, Larry Levinson Productions and 291 Film Company. In 2022, Jacqueline and Erik were honoured to receive a Leo Award for "Best Musical Score In Documentary Series" , for their work on Visionary Gardeners, Season 1 Jacqueline has a background in classical music and is a graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory in Piano Performance. She has given solo and chamber music performances throughout Canada and The Netherlands, most notably as a soloist with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and live performances on CBC Radio in Vancouver. Jacqueline has also worked extensively as an Artist In Residence at The Banff Centre For The Arts.
