Erik Abbink

Erik is a Dutch-Canadian film and television composer specializing in story-driven scores for thrillers, romantic films, and documentary projects. Working alongside creative partner Jacqueline Perriam, his work has been featured internationally on Hallmark, Lifetime, Paramount+, Netflix, TF1 (France), and Channel 5 (UK). Their scores have been recognized with a Leo Award for Best Musical Score in a Documentary Series (Visionary Gardeners, 2022).
Trained as a saxophonist at the doctoral level at the University of British Columbia, Erik has participated in chamber music programs at the Rolduc Orlando Chamber Festival (Netherlands) and held an Artist in Residence position at the Banff Centre for the Arts (Canada).
