Mini bio

  • Florencia Berner, born in Santiago, Chile with flamenco shoes on her feet and a microphone in her hand, has built a compelling career portraying fearless, strong-willed young women. She followed a dual path early on: while earning a degree in Psychology, she simultaneously nurtured her passion for acting, a combination that would later shape her nuanced and emotionally grounded performances.

Her professional acting journey began in film directed by Boris Quercia (2019), acting as his competitive teenager daughter. Florencia's career quickly expanded across major international platforms, to star in Prime Video’s Secretos de Familia, Paramount+’s Dime con Quién Andas, and Disney+’s antagonist Llévame al Cielo, soon to be released.

Florencia made her global debut on Netflix (2025), joining the cast of the second season of Baby Bandito, directed by Julio Jorquera, Pepa San Martín and Casa de Papel director, Alejandro Bazzano, embracing a new genre in her career - action and did her own stunt, using guns and physical challenges.

Exploring genres, she cast the musical feature film La Ola (The Wave), directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sebastián Lelio. The film premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival, marking a milestone in her international career.

Most recently, Florencia won Best Acting at the SAM Awards and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series at the Caleuche Awards, Chile’s most prestigious acting honors. She is a lead actor in the Cine Lebu and Beverly Hills Film Festival nominated short film La Luna Que Amamos Como a Un Hermano, directed by Iñaki Velasquez, diving deeper to be part of the executive production team.
