Shahrbanou Nilou

Shahrbanou Nilou is a London-based actor born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She is fluent in Farsi, English, and French. She moved to the UK at eighteen to pursue acting, completing a foundation course at Drama Centre London before earning a BA from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
Nilou also holds an MA in Ethnographic and Documentary Film, a discipline she continues to work in alongside acting. Her on-screen work spans short film, commercials, and voice over, most recently appearing in a Maltesers campaign directed by Ally Pankiw. Her voice credits include The Agency and work with Forensic Architecture, as well as voice work for the BBC, including a radio documentary in which she voiced the celebrated Iranian poet Forugh Farrokhzad.
