Biography

Cindy Kent is known for Life with Johnny (1969), A Church to Yourself (1979) and Some People with Jokes (2013).

Having been a committed Christian from an early age, she became a vicar in 2008, retiring after 8 years at St John the Apostle Church in Whetstone, Barnet.

In 2016 she received an MBE for services to religious broadcasting in the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours List.

Vocalist in the folk group, The Settlers, in the 60s and 70s.
