Aric Grooms brought his Southern Ohio charm to New York City, where he has built a career as a comedian, filmmaker, and actor. He is best known as a performer and co-producer of NYC’s Very Good Comedy Show and has appeared at premier venues including Broadway Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, and Caroline's on Broadway.
In 2017, he co-founded Very Good Productions with Robert Punchur. Alongside CFO Craig Lottner, the company produces live comedy shows and online comedic content, growing its audience both on stage and across digital platforms.
In 2020, Aric launched Aric Films with Keith Meek. The company has since produced two award-winning feature films and multiple short films, further cementing his presence behind the camera.
Committed to service beyond entertainment, Aric works with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, supporting fallen and injured military personnel, first responders, and their families.
Aric is married to professional cantor Ayelet Porzecanski, and together they are raising four children in New York City. Whether on stage, on set, or in the community, Aric blends heart, humor, and hustle into everything he creates.
