Pedro Belchior is a Brazilian filmmaker, executive producer and entertainment executive with more than 15 years of experience across film and television.
A former Senior Creative Executive at Amazon MGM Studios Brazil, he helped build the company’s Brazilian scripted originals operation, working across development, production and content strategy. During his tenure, he also worked on international initiatives and collaborations with companies such as AGBO, Gaumont, Amblin and Overbrook.
Before moving fully into filmmaking and entertainment, Pedro worked as an entertainment lawyer and earned a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property in Europe. His background spans creative development, production, business affairs, intellectual property and content strategy.
He was a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Brazilian Academy of Cinema, has been serving as an International Emmy juror, and was a Sundance Institute Collab Community Leader.
