- Lucy Linger is a dynamic director, writer, and producer with a multifaceted career across film, TV, and theatre. She is the founder of Linger Longer Films and her short films have screened at festivals in the UK, Europe, and the US, and featured on the British Comedy Guide. Her latest short film had its US premier at Wondercon in Los Angeles in March 2025 after a World Premier in Glasgow, Scotland. Lucy has had two TV series optioned - one in the USA and one in the UK - and has a feature film under option in the USA. A teaser trailer she shot for a TV series inspired by her debut short film Love Lies has over 380,000 views on YouTube.
Her theatre company, Threadbare Theatre, stands as one of England's longest-running fringe companies, whose productions consistently receive stellar reviews from revered critics such as The Stage, Time Out, The Independent, and The Metro.
In Sept 2024 Lucy wrote and directed a play, Offroading, that performed in London and received press acclaim. She subsequently decided to film the play and now has a feature film version.
