- Born and raised on the streets of South Boston, Massachusetts, Chris C. Banks-also known as Chris Banks-a second-generation American and only child, discovered his knack for storytelling as a child doing a play in 'head start', then moving on to improvising in school without a script. At age 11, he landed a suspension from school for appearing on local access television, BNN, where he and friends staged full-on wrestling matches complete with characters and storylines. By middle school, he was weaving vocabulary words into lively skits, occasionally irking peers with his relentless drive for storytelling. This wasn't just play-it was his spark that would ignite a lifelong passion for storytelling. Eventually trading wrestling for sports and academics, Banks pursued excellence with tenacity and intensity. He earned an A.S. in Behavioral Science from Quincy College and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Launching his career in short films, student projects, music videos, and every opportunity he could earn, he is now carving a dynamic path across film, television, Off-Broadway theater, voice acting, and narration. From voicing Lou Pearlman in Netflix's Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam (2024) to embodying the enigmatic Frail Guy in Netflix's Black Rabbit (2025), Banks brings depth and authenticity to every role and every day of his life. On Instagram (@christophercbanks), he shares glimpses of this road, blending a storyteller's heart with a social worker's insight. Rooted in his upbringing, Banks is proving to the world he's not just acting-he's living the stories he tells.
