- Rob has been making short films and writing scripts since his teenage years. He studied film and animation at the Queensland College of Art. After college he set up a production company in Brisbane, producing numerous live-action TV commercials and music videos.
In the early nineties Rob decided to specialise in animation, one of his first loves. Rob made two stop-motion short films and then formed a boutique studio - Cycho - Film & Animation, which produces claymation, stop-motion, mixed-media and 3D computer animation.
Cycho have created numerous animated and live action television commercials in Australia and Internationally. Cycho clients have included Artline, Australian Red Cross, Fox Studios, HCF, JJJ Radio, McDonalds, Pepsi, Roche, and many others. You can view some of Rob's animation at cycho
Over the last few years, Rob has been writing and developing several feature film screenplays in the horror and thriller genres. He has also written & directed two short horror films. Night Guard screened at over 30 international film festivals and won a few awards for VFX. Death Drive is his latest short film.
