- When Jason was nominated for a "Best Supporting Actor" for his duel roles in the stage production of "Swan Song", in an effort to conceal the ending, Jason used the pseudonym "George Spelvin" for the hidden role. This is sometimes done in theater when the actor doesn't want the audience to know the secret. Apparently, however the awards board didn't know this and originally nominated George Splevin for the award. The mistake was corrected before the ceremony.
