Tahira Chloe Mahdi is a screenwriter, film producer, fiction author, and community psychologist who has also been a media personality, broadcasting school instructor, video vixen, and college professor. Caught Out There (2025) is her first film.
Getting her PhD was almost as cool as publishing her first book God Laughs, Too: Incidents in the Life of a Black Chick, performing the intro on the first all-woman go-go rap song "A Pocketful of Dymes," and having an actor portray her in the documentary TMOTTGoGo Inside the Pocket. Tahira has also seen success with her sexy, thrilling second novel, This Is Not How It Was Supposed to Go. She is claimed by family and community in Baltimore City and in P.G. County, Maryland.
