Biography

Amy Dowden has been married to Benjamin Jones since July 2, 2022.

In May 2023, she was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy shortly afterwards. After more tumors were found, she started chemotherapy.

Welsh professional ballroom and Latin American dancer.

Has suffered from Crohn's disease since she was a child.

She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for her services to Fundraising and Raising Awareness of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She is an Advocate and Ambassador for Crohn's and Colitis United Kingdom in Rowley Regis, West Midlands, England.
