Biography

Alice Tamburrino (Rome, May 9, 1996) is an Italian director with a strong background in both filmmaking and sound design. Her work explores raw realism and emotional tension, with a deep focus on sound as a narrative tool. In 2017, she earned a Master's degree in Cinematographic and Audiovisual Film Technician at the European Academy of Arts in Rome, and later specialized in Music Production and Sound Design at the Saint Louis College of Music. She has worked as a director, assistant director, and sound designer on feature films, short films, music videos, commercials, and television productions, developing a complete understanding of the production process and an effective communication with every department. Among her most recognized works as director are two award-winning short films:

• Dark Compost - winner of the "Asti Noir" award at the Asti International Film Festival 2022, "Best Thriller" at the PME Festival, "Best Supporting Actress" at the Caorle Independent Film Festival, and "Best Production Design" at the Moonlight Short Film Festival.
• Level Up - awarded "Best Short" at both the Coffi CortOglobo Film Festival 2019 and the London Short Comedy Festival.

In 2024, she received the "Best Sound" award at the 18th For Rainbow Film Festival in Brazil for the feature film Io non sono nessuno, confirming her expertise and sensitivity in the field of sound.
