Alving García Marcano is a Venezuelan documentary filmmaker whose work explores political movements, democratic struggles, and the human stories behind global crises. Born in Venezuela and based in North Carolina, García Marcano became involved in the Venezuelan opposition movement in 2016 amid escalating political repression and mass protests.
