Uberto Rapisardi is an Italian filmmaker and musician. Originally trained in painting and art history in Florence, he later worked in fashion and music between Milan, Paris and London. He was a member of The Veils for nearly a decade, recording and touring internationally, and appeared with the band in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return (2017). Since 2018, Rapisardi has directed film works including Palazzo Bruciato (2018) and Na Y’a Lucky (2020), a short documentary made in Cameroon. He later served as co-developer, producer and co-cinematographer on Jail Time Records, a documentary feature filmed inside Douala Central Prison, premiering at Tribeca Festival in 2026. His first feature documentary, Vacío Luminoso, is a meta-portrait of filmmaker Oliver Laxe during the making of Sirât. The film was selected for a special screening at Visions du Réel in 2026.
