Biography

Swatantra (Savi) Goel was born and raised in Patiala, Punjab. He started his career as a Bank officer with State Bank of India. Then immigrated to the USA in 1996 for better prospects, after resigning from lucrative Bank job. He got instant success there in the petroleum business, owning a bunch of petrol stations/convenience stores.

Since Mr. Savi Goel was active and interested in theatre from college days, he decided to fulfill his dream to associate with Bollywood in 2014. He started working on a script with famous writer Mir Muneer for his first hindi movie Ashley in 2016 and even wrote it's screenplay and dialogues. Then he tried his hand at a Telugu movie Dessa Dhimmari in 2017- 2018 with a known star cast. Savi Goel Produced a marathi movie PENSION with versatile actress Sonali Kulkarni in 2019. This film has been sold out to EROS NOW. for which Sonali was awarded Filmfare critics award for best actress and the movie has been highly appreciated all around

after instant success on Marathi cinema Mr Goal produce two more movies named "Gaurich Lagnala" and "Fake Marriage" . the latter movie was even written and directed by Savi Goal and this movie is sold to ultra ott and is being highly appreciated for its crispy screenplay and dialogues

then in October 2023 , Mr. Goal directed and produced another Marathi movie 'OVA' written by Shrikant Bojewar . top maranthi actors Makrand Anaspure and Mitali Jagtap are in the lead roles. this movie is under post production and it is about to release in April 2024.

In the meantime, Mr. Goal wrote another script for a Hindi movie based on adivasi girl who excels in archery . this movie is being directed and produce by Mr. Goal also with famous artist.
