Hailing from Dublin and raised in Westmeath, Matthew Jones developed a passion for film at a young age and began making short films at ten. He studied cinematography and film production at Ballyfermot College of Further Education, where he wrote and directed the graduate film Rose (2016), which screened to audiences nationwide.
