Biography

Celina Biurrun is an Argentine actress based between Madrid and Los Angeles, whose career has developed within the international independent film scene.

She made her acting debut in Fuzzy Head, a feature film she also produced, which premiered at Slamdance in 2023. She later starred in Rains Over Babel, playing the role of Uma while also serving as a producer. The film had its world premiere at SUNDANCE 2025 and continued its festival run at Rotterdam, Málaga, and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where it received the Panorama España Award. In 2027, *Rains Over Babel* will represent Colombia at the GOYA AWARDS and in the race for the OSCAR for Best International Feature Film.

She is currently developing Gallina Negra, a fantasy-mystery trilogy set in a dystopian universe, in which she continues to explore complex female characters and themes of power, freedom, and identity.
