Biography

Kuresh Maharana was born on 16th of August in 1990 in Brahmapur, Odisha. He started out his career in filmmaking as an Editor from a short film named "Kshudha" in 2013. He was graduated in BSC from Berhampur University & did a specialized course on filmmaking at Zee Institute of media arts(Mumbai). During the years between 2013-2021 he made numerous Short films, ad-films, indie feature films, music videos and other noble charitable documentary works. He was awarded Southern Shorts Award in individual achievement in editing for the large short film "Why me?" in the year 2017. Later on that same film Won many International & other film festival awards. The film "Why me?" won the Prestigious 66th National Film award in the social justice film category. Recently he served as a Writer & Director in various music videos and upcoming short films.
