Biography

Tasou Palisidou is a filmmaker working across film and television, with experience spanning directing, producing, and production coordination. Based in London, she developed her craft through studies in media production and directing, completing a BA with distinction before continuing with an MA in Directing at MetFilm School. Her professional path began in Athens, where she worked in roles ranging from production assistant and assistant director to camera operator and editor, including collaborations with ANT1 MediaLab and the national broadcaster ERT. She later expanded into directing and producing advertising content, building a practical, hands-on understanding of production workflows. Alongside her directing work, she has taken on a variety of on-set responsibilities such as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd assistant directing, script supervision, and data wrangling, reflecting a broad knowledge of both creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. With a background that combines formal training and industry experience, she has developed a detail-oriented approach to storytelling, while maintaining an interest in progressing further into assistant directing and large-scale productions.
