She was a famous model in Bombay in the 1970's. She appeared nude in a controversial scene in her documentary debut in 1970. Her father was best friends with Prayag Raaj. He was going to launch her in a supporting role in Maang Saja Do Meri. The film lays complete and unreleased. She was also known as Sophia Khan.
