Biography

Jimi Kilday is a Perth-based actor with a grounded screen presence and a knack for finding truth in a scene. Born in the North West of Australia to a Scottish father and a New Zealander mother, he is the youngest of three brothers, which means he developed resilience, quick timing, and the ability to hold his own from an early age.

He trained in screen acting at Perth Film School, where he honed his technique and deepened his love for performance. Since then, he has gone on to appear in a range of short and feature films, steadily building experience and a reputation for being both committed and easy to work with.

Jimi is the son of Jock Kilday Ferguson, respected union leader and politician - so standing up for himself comes naturally, though thankfully now it’s mostly in character.
