Johnny Russell is a writer/director specialising in dark comedy, poignant drama and heightened imagery. His short films have
been nominated for three Cannes Lions Young Director Awards, winning for best comedy. Alongside they have been
nominated at OSCAR, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying film festivals. He is mentored by BAFTA and EMMY winning producer, Laurie
Borg and has recently been accepted as a Directors UK x Inspire mentee under award winning director, Richard Signy.
