His 30 years in journalism has taken Raf from the suburbs of Melbourne to events like the Thredbo landslide disaster, East Timor's vote for independence, war crimes cases in the Balkans and the papal conclave in Vatican City.
Raf joined 774 ABC Radio Melbourne as Drive host in 2012 and has hosted Mornings since 2023.
Raf has won two Walkley awards for his investigative reporting into police corruption in Victoria and for exposing flaws in an Australian Federal Police terrorism investigation, and is the author of Prisoner X, about a Melbourne man turned Israeli spy.
