- Los Angeles-based photographer Sasha Eisenman was born into the Southern California surfing lifestyle and was raised in the LA music scene. Sasha first started taking photos with his mother's old Nikon 35mm camera. Eisenman attended the University of California San Diego, where he studied Media Arts/Film with an emphasis on 16mm filmmaking and photography. Sasha began his photography career in 1999 with a Doc Martin advertorial for the magazine Dazed and Confused. Among the other notable publications that Eisenman has worked for are GQ, Elle, InStyle, Playboy, Glamour, Spin, Interview, and Teen Vogue. Sasha published his first book of photography California Girls in 2014.
