Biography

George Shakkour is a Syrian-American actor, born and raised in Syria, and now based in New York City. A member of SAG-AFTRA, George has built an impressive body of work spanning independent films and international productions. His films have screened at major festivals including the Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, NewFest, and the Doha Film Festival.

In addition to holding a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, George discovered his passion for acting at an early age, performing in school plays and local theater productions before formally training at the William Esper Studio in New York City.

Alongside his work as an Engineering Manager at Paramount Global, George continues to collaborate on projects that challenge and inspire him, bringing authenticity and emotional depth to every role he takes on.
