Katie Sanderson is a Los Angeles-based independent film producer and assistant director focused on character-driven storytelling and thoughtful, resourceful production. She earned a BFA in Film Producing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship, where she developed a strong foundation in creative development and production strategy. Katie has collaborated on a wide range of projects, including narrative short films, scripted television, and commercial branded content. In addition to her producing work, she has experience as an Assistant Director, contributing strong on-set organization and leadership across productions. She is passionate about independent filmmaking and committed to elevating original voices through collaborative, intentional production practices that allow independent stories to thrive at any scale.
