Biography

Tom Kunzman is an American actor, entertainer, and guitarist who began his career touring and recording as a musician and songwriter in various punk and pop-rock bands before transitioning into film and theatre acting. He built his early reputation through years of relentless live performance and successful co-writing/collaboration, touring and making records alongside his longtime creative partner, now wife. The two have written songs with and for artists like Ace Frehley (KISS) and Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday, The Color Fred, Say Anything)

After marrying in 2019, the couple completed one final tour in 2020 before relocating to Las Vegas in 2021 to pursue more songwriting opportunities and work closer to the Los Angeles entertainment market. As new creative doors opened, Kunzman expanded into acting, where his stage confidence and performance instincts translated naturally to screen and immersive entertainment. It was there too, that he began studying Chekhov. After surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2025, he returned from recovery with an even deeper drive to pursue storytelling in all forms.

Now working across Las Vegas and Los Angeles, Kunzman performs with the cast of BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon as Twig, the rock star bot driver and is also involved with the new John Wick Experience, portraying various characters on any given day. In 2024 and 2025, he portrayed Joey Ramone in several weeks of sold-out performances of Four Chords and a Gun, a stage play written by John Ross Bowie (The Big Bang Theory, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Jumanji: The Next Level). Promotional appearances included live band performances at the Punk Rock Museum in the Pennywise Garage, blending both of his passions. 2025 was an intensely creative year for him, releasing two short films (Prodrome, Orchid) and has also begun exploring the vertical platform, expanding further into modern short-form storytelling. He says "I keep on learning new things every day whether I’m on stage, set or studio and because of that, I’m still inspired, still interested. It keeps me excited to create."
