Biography

Ahab Mullick is a Pakistani-American writer/director based in Brooklyn, NY whose work is known for its textural style - rooted in compassionate and nuanced portrayals of working people. With films featured on platforms such as BOOOOOOOMTV and SHOWstudio, and films made for luxury brands such as Luisa Via Roma, Ahab's work has also been personally showcased by acclaimed fashion photographer, Nick Knight. In 2017, Ahab co-founded HÖMA, an independent production company based both in Atlanta, GA and New York City in order to create opportunities for and support underrepresented POC filmmakers. More recently, Ahab has written and directed his debut feature film entitled, Provider, which is slated for a release in mid 2023.
