Biography

Katya Kaminsky is an award winning filmmaker and development executive, based in Los Angeles. Katya got her start in musical theatre, working and performing with The Young Americans for a number of years before graduating Summa Cum Laude from Emerson College, with a B.A. in Film & Television. She has spent her career working with high caliber talent both in front of and behind the camera to create & sell various TV shows, movies, and digital content. She has a passion for telling stories, utilizing unique visual languages, and aims to create progressive media with an activist voice that will help others & incite positive social change. In her free time she can be seen taking thousands of photos she'll never edit, writing silly stories, and singing loudly at her cats.
