Bowei Yue

Originally from China, Bowei is an LA/Beijing-based film editor. His works have premiered in competition at over 100 international film festivals, including Berlin International Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, San Sebastián International Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival and SXSW. In addition, his AFI thesis film BALLOON was the drama series winner of the 40th College Television Awards (College Emmy, 2020) and a nominee of the 46th Student Academy Awards (2019). Bowei graduated with an M.F.A. in Film Editing from American Film Institute in LA, and he got his B.F.A. in Audio Art at Beijing Film Academy. He was also a Film Independent Project Involve fellow of class 2020 and is a Motion Picture Editors Guild member.
