Claire Harris Matson

Claire Harris Matson is a writer, director, and producer who was born and raised in New York City. Claire enjoys bringing female-driven stories to life and in 2025 she co-directed and independently produced, Being Dead Should Be Easy, a short film that she wrote which has since screened at multiple festivals. Her latest short, Bad Seed, is finished with post production and will be ready for audiences soon. Previously, she was a finalist in the Austin Television Festival's Pitch competition. Claire has written and performed comedy sketches that appeared on Funny or Die, WhoHaha, Huffington Post, and more.
