Mohamed Lotfi(1949-2017)

He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts (Acting Department) in Cairo in 1966. He later earned a PhD in the 1990s. He received a Best Acting Award for his performances in films produced by the Higher Institute of Cinema at the Egyptian Short Documentary Film Festival in 1973. After retiring from acting, he dedicated himself to teaching at the Film Institute. He also appeared in a number of films and television series, such as Al Intiqam (1969), The Tragedy of Dr. Hosny (1973), Fi El Seif Lazem Neheb (1974), Zaier el-fager (1975) and Shadows on the Other Side (1975).
