Biography

Cole Depner is a Canadian actor and screenwriter of German and Scottish descent born in Edmonton, Alberta. He grew up in Penticton, B.C. and played college baseball at the University of Toronto. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering and received his Professional Engineer license in 2020. He studied acting at LB Acting Studio and made his screen debut in the Netflix supernatural drama October Faction. His first screenplay, The Ride Home, was a ScreenCraft Film Fund semifinalist and his second screenplay, Diamond Hands, was an Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition Second Rounder.
