Katie Campbell(XIX)

Katie Campbell is a national Emmy award-winning filmmaker and journalist at ProPublica where she produces investigative documentary films. She has focused on in-depth science reporting throughout her career and has been recognized by National Academies of Sciences and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Prior to joining ProPublica, she was a special correspondent for the PBS NewsHour and managed video for a public media environmental reporting partnership at Seattle's PBS station, where her investigation into the illegal exportation of electronic waste helped uncover the largest e-recycling fraud in U.S. history. She holds a master's degree in narrative journalism from the University of Oregon and her writing has been anthologized in the "Best Creative Nonfiction."
